Hi, I’m Lucy

I am inspired by where I live in the South West of England and feel excited by the colours I see, interactions between people and places, and the conversations I overhear as I draw. When I’m not out with my sketchbook, I work from my home studio near Bath where I am often joined by my dog George, a good audiobook and lots of cups of coffee.

I have been drawing for as long as I can remember and I experiment and draw in my sketchbook almost every day. For me, drawing is exploratory and expressive, I love to make work that tells a story about every day moments, and that connects with others.

I am currently studying for a Masters Degree in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.
